Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account and using Nappe ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Nappe is a SaaS platform that allows culinary professionals to create, cost, scale, and export technical cards (recipes with cost calculations). The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier available.

3. Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One account corresponds to one workspace. Team members can be invited separately.
  • You must verify your email address to activate your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any other user's data.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Service.
  • Use automated scripts to access the Service in a way that exceeds normal usage.

5. Free plan limitations

The Free plan includes the following limits per workspace:

  • 5 technical cards
  • 10 preps
  • 20 products
  • 1 project
  • 1 team member (owner only)

PDF exports on the Free plan include a watermark. To remove limits and watermarks, upgrade to a paid plan.

6. Intellectual property

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Nappe — recipes, products, cost data, and any other content. We claim no ownership over your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice. We may update these Terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Advanced → Danger zone. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is permanently deleted.

10. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or business interruption.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts.
