Team
Nappe supports collaborative workspaces. You can invite team members and clients, each with different levels of access.
Roles
There are three roles in a Nappe workspace:
Owner
The person who created the workspace. Has full access to everything: create, edit, delete, approve, share, manage team, change settings, and export data.
Member
A team member (e.g. sous-chef, kitchen manager). Can create, edit, and delete cards, preps, products, and projects. Cannot change workspace settings or manage invitations.
Client
A read-only viewer (e.g. a restaurant owner or investor). Clients can only view the specific cards and projects that the Owner has explicitly shared with them. They see a simplified sidebar: Dashboard, Cards, Projects only.
Inviting a team member
- Go to Settings → Team.
- Enter the email address and select a role (Member or Client).
- Click Send invitation.
- The invitee receives an email with a link to accept and create their account (or log in if they already have one).
Granting card or project access to a Client
By default, Clients see nothing. To give a Client access to a specific card or project:
- Open the card → Share tab → enter the client's email under Team access.
- Open a project → Access tab → grant access to the client.
Removing a team member
Go to Settings → Team, find the member, and click Remove. Their access is revoked immediately. Content they created remains in the workspace.
Free plan limit
The Free plan supports 1 user (the workspace owner only). Upgrade to Pro to invite team members and clients.
